Vandalism Coaching is a program designed to match experienced users with those hopefuls for one-on-one coaching. The experienced users, being better versed in the qualities expected of a prospective vandal, help the hopefuls learn the ways of Wikipedia, as well has how to game the system, look out for WP:BEANS violations to exploit, and other things that can cause disruption and c#@0$.
This program is designed for vandals who keep on getting blocked on sight, and want to learn how to disguise their vandalism, so they can stay longer on Wikipedia. It is also for successful vandals who want to learn more about what they can do. Some might like suggestions about how to create sockpuppets, or moving an article ten times, or guidance with how to troll at the Administrators noticeboard.
Vandalism Coaching does not guarantee that this will help you avoid getting caught. Ultimately, this is your responsibility, not the responsibility of your coach. A coach may teach you the ropes, but when creating sockpuppets, you need to make them less obvious. Good luck!
Instructions
[edit]Do not wait for the coordinator to do anything. The project coordinators do, at times, make efforts to contact people and connect promising vandals with coaches. However, if you wish to speed up the process, do this yourself. If you are a student who wants a coach, look at the status page and look for a coach without a student. If you are a coach and want a student, contact one near the top of the request list. Just do it. But please be sure to update the status and requests pages, so everyone knows what is going on.
- If you need a coach, list yourself below, under Vandals looking for coaches.
- If you would like to be a coach, please list yourself under Coach Status.
- If you are a coach or coachee, please update your status under Coach Status.
- If you have finished receiving coaching and want to thank your coach, consider moving their userpage through various namespaces, while flooding their talk page with barnstars...
The current project coordinators are Willy on Wheels and Jimbo Wales. Please contact them if you have a question or concern.

I'd love a coach. I've been having fun making trouble on my own (and so have my other accounts), but I'd really like a way of making Wikipedia more inaccurate in the months to come. I've realised it isn't just about writing "ICELAND IS TEH COCK!!!1" on the entry for Iceland. But that did make me chuckle. I'm after spreading some serious, subtle, misinformation. Any advice? Coach Status
[edit]'All socks ironed and ready to go '- I'm happy to sign up to what will doubtless be a noble and fruitful endeavour. Specialist subjects include :
- Page blanking - 10 simple tricks to help you fire blanks more effectively.
- Unblock requests - a statistical examination of the 5 most successful unblock requests of all time. (Note - Does not include "I left my computer alone for five minutes and look what my little brother did...")
- A vandals' guide to grammer and punctuation - never again will you embarrass yourself by telling an admin to "Go screw yourself's".
- The main page - no, you can't delete it, but who needs to delete it to have fun? A hundred and one ways to deface Wikipedia's welcome mat (plus a couple of extras you'd never have thought of).
