Manuel Jonah Maag also known by his artist name Numa [ˈnuːma] is a Swiss music producer, DJ and songwriter who started his musical career with the release of electronic dance music.

[edit]His pseudonym “Numa” is composed by the abbreviation “Manu” of his surname Manuel.
The Numa logo and the artist name associated with it, came about when he was 16. Later on, a good friend helped him to visualize the draft as a digital version. Their vision of the logo was to create something unique and at the same time futuristic.
Music career
[edit]Numa has been producing music since 20xxx, when he was 15 years old. Back in that time he encountered music production for the first time through a school project and started creating music with Logic Pro X. His first music compositions were uploaded to Soundcloud. A few years passed before he met a colleague who was convinced of his music and helped him to set up his first commercial release. At 19 he released his first single "Always You", an emotional deep-house & dance track.
