Hello, though I am a newbie, I have been using Wikipedia for some years as a visitor, and have enjoyed the wonderful resource that it has become for almost 10 years. I hope to, eventually, learn enough about the inner workings of Wikipedia to be able to contribute some of my research and photographs. I am retired, and my main interests are walking, photography, archaeology, philately, postal history, historical research, archive research, local history, genealogy, and my family, especially our little granddaughter. My choice of 'Nottawasaga' is that it was the name of our home when I was a small child. Though we are an ancient English family, my father had lived near the Nottawasaga River, Ontario, Canada for much of his youth, before returning to the UK, where he and I were born.
