Tom McManamon, also known as "The Beast" and "Tom McAnimal", was a london-born musician who played Irish tenor banjo, guitar, and mandolin. He is best known for his role in Shane MacGowan and The Popes.
Born May 30, 1961, Tom grew up in London, England. His parents ran The Little Favourite favourite pub on Holloway Road,[1] an Irish pub that was a meeting point for London Irish, and a centre of the Traditional Irish music scene in London.
