NoJetsTO NoJetsTO is a coalition of concerned citizens dedicated to preserving Toronto’s mixed-use waterfront and a boutique Island Airport.
Representing residents across Toronto, the non-partisan organization NoJetsTO opposes the expansion of the Island Airport through jet aircraft and extended runways. NoJetsTO’s goal is to preserve the current state of the Island Airport by protecting the Tripartite Agreement that governs it.
Supporters of NoJetsTO
NoJetsTO is a diverse group of residents from across Toronto. It’s a grassroots organization that is non-partisan and independent, uniting volunteers of different ages, backgrounds and motivations. To date NoJetsTO has collected more than 14,000 signatures from every single ward in the city.
Anshul Kapoor, Chair
As a father of a little girl, Anshul is passionate about stopping toxic jets from taking off on the waterfront. As a waterfront resident who was previously not involved in any organization or cause, the NoJetsTO chairman is a prime example of how resistance to the reckless jet plans is forming at the grassroots level.
