WHITE BOX TESTING

INTRODUCTION

There are several methods for automatic test case generation has been proposed in the past. But most of these techniques are structural testing techniques that require the understanding of the internal working of the program.

In this article , we will address one of the most well-known methods of fully evaluating a system or part of a system - namely, white box testing. In a fast-paced world, strategies like White box testing are fighting for survival.

At the end of it all, you'll be able to understand the unmistakable role that is often played by white box tests on large projects, and the inclusion of these and similar inspection techniques that are not attractive but equally effective. The side is back with new enthusiasm.

What is White Box Testing?

The white box test is a software test that tests the internal structure, structure, and coding of software to ensure the flow of inputs and improve construction, usability and security. In the white box test, the code is visible to the testers, which is why it is also called the clear box test, the open box test, the code-based test, and the glass box test.

This is one of the two parts of the check box for software testing. The partner, the Black Box Test, includes testing from an external or end-user perspective. On the other hand, the white box test in software engineering is based on the internal performance of the system and is focused on internal testing.

Background of White Box Testing

The term "White Box" was used because of the see-through box concept. The clear box or White Box name symbolizes the ability to see through the software's outer shell (or "box") into its inner workings. Likewise, the "black box" in "Black Box Testing" symbolizes not being able to see the inner workings of the software so that only the end user experience can be tested.
