Antreas Guido Kontides
Antreas Guido Kontides (born July 22, 1994) is a Greek-Cypriot fashion specialist, creative director, musician, and curator.
Early Life and Education
Antreas Guido Kontides was born on July 22, 1994, in Limassol, Cyprus. He attended Laniteio Lyceum and Marios Tokas Music School, where he specialized in the clarinet and studied music studies and theory. Kontides was also a member of the Cyprus Youth Orchestra.
Kontides later pursued higher education in fashion design at De Montfort University (DMU) in Leicester, United Kingdom. He subsequently transferred to AKTO College in Athens, Greece, where he focused on Fashion Design and Image Making.
Early Career
Kontides began his public service career as the elected president of the Cypriot Youth Parliament. At the age of 14, he took his first steps in the fashion industry in Greece and Cyprus. By 15, he showcased his first fashion show and personal collection, collaborating with major names in the industry who supported his early efforts. This achievement led to Kontides being nominated as the youngest designer by various publications and forums.
During his early career, Kontides opened his own shop in Cyprus in 2013, featuring his own clothing collection. He was also a finalist for Newcomer Greek Designer by Madwalk and participated in projects such as Mad Awards, Miss World, and Miss Universe. His diverse experience in these high-profile events and projects contributed significantly to shaping his multifaceted career in fashion and entertainment.
Major Achievements
Kontides' early success allowed him to collaborate with prominent figures in the film, fashion, and music industries. He worked with household names in Greece, Cyprus, and Europe, contributing to fashion shows, music videos, movies, TV series, and tours across Europe. A significant highlight of his career was serving as the artist manager, representative, and image maker for the Cypriot entry in Eurovision[Song Contest in 2015]. His efforts were recognized by the BBC, which awarded the Cypriot entry as the best dressed and presented for that year.

Current Work
Kontides currently serves as the creative director for the Cyprus Fashion Film Festival and the head curator of the Cyprus Fashion Heritage Network. He also designs wardrobes for VIP clientele and creates efficient campaigns and advertisements for fashion houses, companies, and individuals by managing and directing their public image. Kontides has been a commercial director for brands represented in Cyprus, such as Levis, Big Star, Havaianas, Diesel, and more. He has worked with various startups as a commercial and creative director and directed the first Fashion and Technology Expo in Doha Design District, Qatar.
Personal Life
Outside of his professional endeavors, Kontides is actively involved in European projects focusing on sustainability, arts, and culture, reflecting his commitment to activism in these areas.
