The Name Museum is an aviation museum located at the ''Name'' Airport in City, State.
History
[edit]The following subsections are not mandatory, but included as possible examples of how to subdivide the section. As a general rule, there should be a new section every time the museum moves. Includes major expansions, acquisitions and new exhibits. When describing expansions, inclusion of the area using the convert template (e.g. 1 sq ft (0.093 m2)) is suggested. Major events such as accidents involving museum aircraft and major acquisitions may be included. However, in the latter case, care must be taken so that the section does not become a prosaic list of metaphorical bullet points. (i.e. "This happened and then this happened and then this happened.")
Background
[edit]Describes events that occurred before the museum was established, such as the early life of the founder or the founding of an association that led to the creation of the museum.
A further template should be used when the museum was established on the grounds of a former military base and that base no longer exists. This eliminates the need for the history of the base, which is not directly pertinent to the museum, to be included in the article.
Establishment
[edit]Potential wording: "The Name Museum was founded by Last name in year and opened in year in City, State."
Move
[edit]Recounting of events following the museum's relocation, starting with at least a single sentence summary of the relocation
Facilities

Exhibits

Collection
[edit]This section may also be divided into "On display", "Stored" and "Under restoration" sections if appropriate. If aircraft are the only type of vehicles in the collection, then subsections are not necessary.

[edit]Other

Programs
