I'm Dr Michael Noetel, an academic that specialises in systematic reviews, meta-analysis, and knowledge translation. I try to uphold the Wikipedia ideals of fair, robust, balanced and accurate assessment of science. Given these reviews are the top of the Hierarchy of evidence, I occasionally use my own reviews to support my edits. As a result, I may occasionally self-cite but abide by the guidelines (Wikipedia:SELFCITING) for avoiding undue emphasis on my own work and acknowledging the COI. I maintain that using these reviews make Wikipedia more accurate than using any small handful of studies to support claims; regardless, here the examples where I have relied on my own publications:
