User:Nobody can see me
Dear Wikipedians,
One reason why I signed up on Wikipedia was to contribute to it, help improve articles and revert vandalism. I thought my experience here was going to be exciting, hoping to get along with other Wikipedians and have a good time. However, this thought was crushed in less than an hour of contributing.
I found a handy tool to help me revert vandalism called Popups (I'm sure most of you are familiar with it). I started to revert vandalism. Then, on one edit, I accidentally made a revert where I wasn't supposed to. The edits I reverted were actually contributing to the article. While I admit that I might have been reverting a bit too fast, the user whose edits I reverted contacted me and after just one little mistake, they threatened to take away my popup privileges. Keep in mind that I have not been on Wikipedia for an hour and already a Wikipedian is treating me like a vandal, on one little mistake! Because of this, I have lost all faith in Wikipedia and its contributors. I can only hope in the future that Wikipedians learn how to treat others with respect. I will no longer be contributing to Wikipedia because I don't wish to become someone who bullies newbies and treats them with disrespect.
Regards,
