From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I am 16 years old, born February 28th, 2003, and I live in Snohomish County of Washington State. I love to watch basketball and hockey and hangout with my friends in my free time, when I am not working or attending school. I played club volleyball for 6 years but I made the decision to stop to focus more on school. My favorite TV shows are Pretty Little Liars, Grey's Anatomy, and the Bachelor franchise shows.

When I am older I want to be an executive at Amazon or my back-up plan is being a kindergarten teacher. I do running start and I am hoping to graduate with my associates degree by senior year and then transfer to San Diego State University.

Article Evaluation

[edit]

I visited the Colton Underwood page on Wikipedia, and found two aspects of it worth commenting on, one being the lack of explanation regarding the breaking off of his original girlfriend, Aly, and no description or explanation of the "mixed reactions" given by members of the social media page ABC.

Being that this relationship between Colton and Aly was his first recognizeable relationship by the public, the Wikipedia page should've provided specific details on the breakup, or everything that they know at least. Some readers are reading this article to find out more information about Colton and his history so leaving the readers hanging and curious as to why the break up happened with no elaboration, is not the smartest idea and the publisher should have dug deeper and found out more about the situation. Providing further detail about the breakup would've been the ideal scenario to benefit us as readers.

Readers now and majority of people are very nosy and like to know every detail about the situation. We want to know how the audience was feeling about this situation because this is where Colton really blew up as a person and became popular or big in the social media world. I believe with the inclusion of some of the feelings the audience was feeling it would've provided way better pathos to some readers allowing them to closely relate or not to the situation.
