The Institute Of Engineering & Science(THEIES) is a scientific organization founded in 1975. The THEIES operates engineering programs aimed at meeting national needs, encourages education and research, and recognizes the superior achievements of engineers. New members are annually elected by current members, based on their distinguished and continuing achievements in original research. The IES is autonomous in its administration and in the selection of its members. The IES is an American nonprofit, a non-governmental organization. Join as a member in adding your voice to the global scientific debates. IES Strategy is developed and owned by the IES’s Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees regularly monitors progress against the Strategic Priorities and each year reviews the IES Strategy and makes amendments if appropriate.
