Sri Balaji Video, recently incorporated as Sri Balaji Video Private Limited is a Movie Distribution and Production Company in India. It has a presence in the South Indian Film Industry. It is headquartered in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Sri Balaji Video has taken up distribution of DVD's and VCD's of notable Telugu Language movies in the past, and is currently distributing South Indian Movies through its Online distribution partners.
Overview
[edit]Sri Balaji Video was founded in the year 2001 by Niranjan Pansari who is now its Managing Director. It initially acquired copyrights to distribute and market the VCD and DVD copies of Telugu Language Movies, but later went on to acquire Digital and Internet copyrights to the same and expand its presence online. Its YouTube channels- SriBalajiMovies, SriBalajiMusic, SriBalajiShortMovies, SriBalajiComedy, SriBalajiHindiMovies, SriBalajiKannada, SriBalajiTamil, SriBalajiMalayalam have amassed more than 20 million subscribers making it one of south India’s largest YouTube Channel network.
Some of the notable movies distributed by the company are, Magadheera, Vikramarkudu, Jai Bhajarangi, Mirchi, Yamadonga, Govindudu Andarivadele, Aagadu, Temper and many more.
