Nimble Storage is an information technology and hardware company based in San Jose, California. It produces hardware and software products for data storage, specifically a data storage array that uses the iSCSI protocol and includes data backup features[1]. Nimble launched in July, 2010 at Tech Field Day. The company received $16 million in a third round of venture capital funding in December, 2010[2].
