- Concurrent Technologies Corporation: famous it's child company, Commonwealth Research Institute, which hired Charles Reichers as a SETA, who then committed suicide while serving as Air Force principal deputy assistant secretary for acquisition in 2007.
- Boeing
- Hired Darleen Druyun, Principal Deputy Undersecretary of the Air Force for Acquisition, after she oversaw the execution of one of the contracts involved in the United States Air Force tanker contract controversy. She then went to jail for felony corruption.
- The 737 Max groundings. Insider perspectives suggest the central problem was the defense branch (led by McDonnell Douglas execs) taking the reins from the civil aircraft branch (led by engineers) after Boeing bought McDonnell Douglas (described as "McDonnell Douglas bought Boeing with Boeing's money").
