Hello, Wikipedia. I'm Nicholas, and have been an occasional anonymous contributor and style/copy editor on articles that interest me over the years. This is my belated creation of a user identity, in the hopes of self-encouragement towards better and more consistent contribution.
I have a general interest in a wide range of topics, with specific interests in mysticism, the history of western and central Asia, related cultural and linguistic subjects, historic and present-day Islam, Sufis and Sufi orders, migrations of historic nomadic peoples, Neoplatonism, medieval European romance cycles, Western philosophers and their ontological propositions, the philosophy and method of scientific inquiry, and peculiarities of the ancient world — to name subjects top-of-mind!
