  • January 21, 2000: Vulcan's purchase of ZDTV is complete
  • August 21, 2000: ZDTV renamed to TechTV
  • September 18, 2000: TechTV's launch from ZDTV

2001

  • April 2, 2001: TechLive nine-hour experimental news program starts [3]
  • September 7, 2001: TechTV Canada launches
  • November 16, 2001: Massive round of layoffs [4]

  • May 10, 2004: G4/TechTV merger complete
  • May 28, 2004: TechTV becomes G4techTV
