N'faba Mané

N'faba Mané (also known as Faba Mane, or N'faba Mane) is a Franco-Senegalese aspiring professional basketball player, born in Paris on September 29th 2006, a member of the Senegalese U18 National team that took part to the 2024 Afrobasket and rated by FIBA.basketball   as one of the top ten players to watch and a legitimate MVP candidate, leading Senegal to a bronze medal as a match winner scoring Senegal's last five of six points in the last minute of the game.

Early life and background:

N'faba Mané was born and raised in Paris 14. He played soccer before starting to play basketball at the age of 13, but it was at the age of 15 when he started taking the game seriously, working hard to improve consistently through a player development program that was proposed to him by Fidesport. Without a Club from early December 2021, N'faba Mané managed to considerably improve his individual skill level and physique, and was invited by Cholet Basket to attend a try-out from May 24th to May 25th 2022 in which he shined, showcasing his talent and competitive attitude to making the U18 Cholet Basket Team that plays nationally in France. His young basketball career hasn't been regular and fluid in his early beginnings due to the lack of the French passport in most of 2023 when he was selected to play in the 2023 ANGT Zadar Edition with Stella Azzurra and could not participate in a probable try out with the French U18 National Team that had showed interest in him.

• Joined Europrobasket International Academy from April 2023 to June 2023.
• Joined Springdale Prep. (US) from September 2023 to June 2024.
• Joined Seward Community College (US) from August 2024

Personal life:

N'faba Mané is very close to his family and his inner-circle. N'faba has two older brothers and one older sister, and two younger sisters. Fluent in French and English, also understands Italian and Spanish. Enjoys watching and practicing sports, being basketball his favorite. Currently studying sports management and business administration, plans one day to run his own sports & entertainment busisness. Proud of his African origins and French nationality, he rates Paris as his favourite city.
