Neilam Singh^[2] is an Emerging Fashion Designer from Calcutta. A promising young generation entrepreneur and one of the core creator of her fashion label ‘ Neil n Sushi ’. She is the daughter of R.K.Singh and Arati Singh. Singh who is younger to her brother, Ravi; is the eldest among the sisters followed by Sudha Singh & Neha Singh. She is fondly known as Neil. After completing Bachelor’s in Business Administration. Joined INIFD (Calcutta) to hone her fashion designing skills, which was one of her core subject during high school. She incorporated her creativity and business knowledge to start the label ‘Neil n Sushi’ Grown as a custodian of Indian embroidery, the designer’s devoted to lending Indian fashion a new chic statement .The designer believes that the label stands for a modern attitude, comfort and innovative style keeping traditional craftsmanship alive. Keeping a sharp focus on simplicity, subtlety and elegance, the clothes never over shadow but enhance the personality of the wearer.

Career

Graduated in 2009, from INIFD, Calcutta, bagging the Director’s Choice Award for ‘The Outstanding Ramp Appeal’. In 2011 the sister duo (Neilam & Sudha) started their label ‘Neil n Sushi ‘ joined by their younger sibling in 2013 (BFW- Bangkok Edition) Today the label retails through multi designer stores in Kolkata, Surat, Pune and online designer stores.
