Tyrone DuBose (born May 4, 1960 in Cincinnati, Ohio) is an American radio personality, actor, voice artist, and television contributor. He is a daily contributor on The Sheryl Underwood Radio Show,[1] and show contributor on the hour-long music documentary program, UNSUNG, that airs on TV One.
Career
[edit]DuBose is a five-time R&B Historian Winner including The Black Music Awards, and received a lifetime achievement award from UVIEW Media Group in Los Angeles California.[2] He gained notoriety from the countdown program, Timeless Traxx and being a contributor on TV One's program, UNSUNG.[3]
In 2017, DuBose joined the Sheryl Underwood radio program as a daily contributor on America’s R&B Historian, with a segment called “A 60 Second moment in music history.” DuBose gives trivia, history, and chart information on musical artists from six different decades. Dubose contributes to iHeart's radio Program, “This Day in Quiztory”,[4] a daily lesson on radio about the history of prominent African Americans.
