[edit]Grand Baton was founded by Jean-Cristophe (JC) Maillard and currently consists of band members JC Maillard on vocals, guitar, keyboards, and the SazBass, Theirry Arpino on drums and percussion, and Aidan Carroll on upright and electric bass.[9]
Under the leadership of Maillard, Grand Baton has released two studio albums that have incorporated innovative drum beats and guitar compositions. The first, Le Grand Baton, was released in 2007[10]; while the second, Carnal Carnival, was released in 2013.[11]
