"Nargoon" is a historian of the earth sciences who lives in the United Kingdom. He has published extensively on Antarctic history, and in particular the first Russian Antarctic Expedition (1819-1821), which was commanded by Junior Captain Faddej Faddeevich Bellinsgauzen, better known as Bellingshausen.
