Mat Laibowitz is a Principal Researcher at Nokia Research Center Hollywood. He holds a PhD degree from MIT Media Lab's Program in Media Arts and Sciences from the Responsive Environments Group under Prof. Joseph A. Paradiso. He was the founding inventor of Lume Light and the CEO of Ravenna Research and Development Director of Technology Development in Xanboo, Inc[1] . His most known work includes Parasitic Mobility[2] - A distributed sensor networks employing mobile sensing nodes that are carried to desired locations by attaching themselves to moving hosts, and Spinner (MIT Media Lab)[3] , a research platform designed to investigate the world of ubiquitous video devices. He is also known a mixed-media artist and sculptor[4] .
