Hi there! If you've stopped by this page, you'd probably like to know a little about me and why I'm here.
I'm a young thirty-something who lives in the UK and is a fairly experienced computer user. I like cats, cooking, loud dance music and chatting to people. Despite all the silly name-calling thats going on between wikimedia and it's critics, I thought I might try and help. Sadly, the tone of at least one other contributor has begun to give me the impression that the critics may be right, please try to remember, I may disagree with you, but I am not your enemy. As you might guess, my main activity on the site is fact checking, though if I can help in other ways, I will.
I don't claim to be an expert on anything, but I do have a reasonable command of google and some spare time, so I thought I might as well do something productive, as well as educational. If you are an expert and have found a error somewhere and would like to chat to me about it, please get in touch, I'm only to happy to admit my own fallibility, so long as you're willing to be nice about it.
That's all I have to tell you, for now. Thanks for reading.
Oh, the name I've chosen is a googlewhack I discovered when Dave Gorman was speaking about his story. I hope you like it.
