The first individual I came across was Arnzy. His name lets me guess that it is a male. It is not a common name but the few google hits it gives seem to relate to males, so I will use "he" for Arnzy. He welcomed me and did so as a member of a welcoming committee, so he seems to be well-tempered, sociable and hospitable. He writes about himself that he is from Brisbane, Australia. Like all wikipedians he has a list of his contributions, which shows that he seems to be wasting some of his lifetime on US television. [1] [2] He suggests some television related articles for deletion: [3] He edits articles related to Australia's geography and transport systems and seems to think that railway stations should be mentioned in an encyclopedia: [4] There are also some edits on the TV rigths for the Australian Football League. [5] Arnzy has not yet communicated much and joined wikipedia in November 2005 and did most of his first edits on australian railway stations.

The second wikipedian I met was White.matthew.09. He gives his real name at his page as Matt While and writes he is from Pennsylvania in the United States. I still wonder what the 09 may stand for. He writes he still goes to school and first used wikipedia for a project on Greece. He seems to be fond of userboxes showing that he identifies as a young adult, and procrastinating catholic socialist with strict preferences about grammar and writing. He seems to have authoritarian tendencies as a member of a vandalism and recent changes police - that might be how he discovered my first article. It might have interested him because he speaks some Spanish. His hobby lets him come accross a lot of articles that are not obviously related to each other and still stubs. This edit makes me think he is a bit into music. He has some interest in Israel, Palestine and the conflicts they have. I think he is a tolerant person with respect for others. His authoritarian tendencies however still allow him to oppose censorship. He communicates a bit on his talk page and was not too proud to ask for help when he needed it. He contacted Jimbo Wales because there were conflicts about whether to mention controversies on his school's page or not. The school even tried to hold a student accountable for the page about the school he created. I hope Matt can enjoy his youth in spite of worldly innocent authorities.
