Explanation of the Username
[edit]Nāmarūpa is an ancient Pali term, the language used in the earliest Buddhist texts. It is a compound of nāma (literally "name") referring to the mental factors of consciousness, and rūpa (literally "form") referring to the material form [1]. Taken together, nāmarūpa refers to psychophysical unit of the person. I chose this for my username because the first couple of names I thought of were already in use, and so I took a random flip through my Buddhist Psychology, and the term nāmarūpa caught my eye.
