Hauns Sangeet Natya Mandal is a Goa-based amateur theatre troupe producing and performing plays in Marathi. It was founded in 1950 by Mr. Vishwanath Naik and his friends, who wanted to popularize the marathi musical theater to people of Goa. Hauns Sangeet Natya Mandal is the oldest theater group based in Goa which is still actively producing plays and organising activities to spread Theater in corner, through its sister concern organisation Hauns Theater Training Center. Though it began performing marathi musical plays, it has performed plays adapting various forms of theater including experimental, folk and new wave.
