Dr. Shaikh Tanveer Ahmed Dr. Shaikh Tanveer Ahmed is working for HANDS (Health And Nutrition Development Society) as a Chief Executive which is one of the largest NGO of Pakistan. Dr.Shaikh Tanveer is Community Development Specialist, Writer and dedicated backer of the human rights cum empowerment of the poor, deprived, marginalized communities of Pakistan. And he is credited for pioneering health, education , Mother & Newborn Health Care, Reproductive health, Women empowerment , Livelihood Security, Responding emergencies, Rehabilitation & Mitigation, Safe drinking water & Hygiene and poverty alleviation services in the remotest and underprivileged areas of Pakistan. His particular contribution is the establishment of HANDS Institute of Community Development as a subsidiary institution of HANDS. From educational background he is a medical graduate, holding Master’s in Public Health. He has done his fellowship from Public Health Institute Santa Cruz California USA.
More than 25 papers are on his credentials, presented in international conferences, held in different countries. He is also the writer of 23 publications on Development & Public health issues.
