   The China Chamber of Commerce in New Zealand is an organisation of government businesses and companies in New Zealand with the intention to develop and further the interests of its members.  Many of the businesses are global companies operating branch offices in New Zealand.
   The main activities are, among others, safeguarding business interests and sharing industry experiences and commercial interests, liaising with governments, associations and local media as well as organising conferences and events.
   The selective membership includes many of China’s prominent companies as members; Bank of China (NZ), Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (NZ),China Construction Bank Corporation (NZ), Haier Appliances (NZ), Huawei (NZ), Yashili (NZ), Waste Management, COSCO Corporation (NZ), China Travel Service (NZ) Ltd., China Minmetals (NZ) Limited, Air China, China Southern, China Eastern, Pengxin Group,  Fu Wah NZ Ltd,  Agria, to name a few, along with many of the leading local Chinese business executives. Members engage in diverse industries covering many areas of trade, dairy, tourism, processing, shipping, air transport, timber, real estate, education, science and technology, finance and insurance.
