The changes of the Chinese education system
[edit]Our education system has gone through great challenges these years. Is it sensible to abolish the practice of dividing senior school students into "science majors" and "humanities majors"?
[1]This has been a hot topic for a long period of time. The answer is "yes". No matter which to choose, everyone should see to it that your decision will have a good effect on your future development.
It is assumed that if all the schools abolish the practice, most of the students will be set free from the heavy burden of study.[2] One example will sufice to illustrate the point. Studying time averages out at more than 8 hours a day. Children have no time to expose themselves to anything they like that is also helpful to them. Once they have time, chances are that a great number of students can develop an interest for study. They are free to enroll in the courses they like.
As a matter of fact, a high school student has every right to make decisions for themselves. Others have no business interfering in their personal affairs. Last but not least, the entire faculty of a school are supposed to guide the students and stand by, just supporting their choices.
Generally speaking, the diploma that certifies you have graduated from a university is not so important. The young generation will preside over our country's future.
