Nikki Baird was born in 1999 to Steve and Roxie Baird and is an only child. Nikki is from San Antonio, Texas, where she spent the first 18 years of her life. She is a graduate of Tom C. Clark High School where she was Vice President of French Club for 2 years, played soccer for all 4 years, and was a part of NHS.
Nikki also played club soccer growing up. Most recently she played with Lonestar Soccer Club SA where she choose to "retire". She was primarily a goalkeeper, but has some experience playing in different roles on the field. Nikki came out of "retirement" in 2019 to play for the Baylor Women's Club Soccer team and has since started playing with the San Antonio Surf of the WPSL.
Nikki now attends Baylor University where she is majoring in Sports Strategy and Sales in the Hankamer School of Business while also minoring in Public Relations. Nikki is expected to graduate in May of 2022 with a BBA.
While in Waco, Nikki, coached with the Waco Texans Soccer Club. Nikki has a USSF National "F" Coaching License as well as a USSF National "E" Coaching License. Nikki is has also been a Soccer referee since the age 11 and can officiate adult amateur matches with her Grade 7 Ref License. Nikki has interned with the San Antonio Scorpions and volunteers with the Valero AlamoBowl. She has also worked for the Mays Family Branch YMCA.
Christianity is an important part of Nikki's life and she is a member of Shearer Hills Baptist Church. She was dedicated to Shearer Hills at 6 days old and later baptized at the age of 7 on Christmas Eve morning.
Nikki has also worked on the business side of sports for six years. She has spent time working with the San Antonio Scorpions, the Houston Dynamo, the Houston Dash, and she is currently working with the United Soccer League.
