Content Creation
[edit]Recently started to create content, primarily on Youtube in 2024 on topics focused on historical events often missing for historical narratives based on published academic research and credible institutions. Unlike, most content creators, I include extensive sources and links to pages that provide any corrections, changes, etc. My statement in regards to my Wiki user as a potential conflict of interest is also included in my disclosure below. The associated accounts are as follows:
- Youtube (@CorrespondenceTheory)
- X (@CorrespondenceT)
- Medium (@correspondencetheory)
Disclosure:
[edit]- I am a direct descendant of Mine Ginko, a Japanese actress in the silent film era. A book has been published on her last year in Japanese and I am mentioned in the special thanks at the end of the book (not as a source but section does include sources).
- I am also related to other notable Japanese figure but will disclose this if I have any intentions on working on them as I have no intentions at this moment.
- I have started to create content a creator, primarily on Youtube in 2024. As I conduct extensive research on my topics, as well as focusing on credible sources as part of my brand, I may at times make contributions I find lacking in existing pages. In the cases I do contribute, especially on topics I create or plan to create content on, I will only use highly reliable sources such as peer reviewed sources. If the topic is related to a core topic or argument made in a content related to my content, I will only do so after consulting with fellow editors and disclosing my conflict of interest in the "talk" segment of the page.
- I have worked on content outside of Wiki on topics regarding the topics with existing entries such as Yasuke. The content matter was primarily on the various coordinated edits on the Japanese language entry on this topic and the disregard of the use of reliable sources of various content posted by users on platforms such as Youtube, X (formally Twitter) and so on. I intend to not make any edits on this matter due to this.
Fun Fact
[edit]Jimmy Wale's wife attended my high school in Japan so I had the opportunity of meeting him when he spoke at our school in the mid 2000s.
