Halsall Associates Ltd. is a Canadian engineering and consulting firm specializing in structural engineering, cladding engineering, green buildings and communities, restoration engineering, project management, capital planning, due diligence consulting, and performance audits. [1]. The company was founded in 1956 and has offices in Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary, Vancouver, Sudbury, Burlington, Richmond Hill, and Dubai.
Halsall has two sister companies, Loop Initiatives and Pivotal Projects. Loop Initiatives is a management consulting company specializing in sustainability and green business strategy. It is the only Canadian consultancy certified by the Carbon Trust.[2] Pivotal Projects is a project management firm specializing in the development and construction industries.
Halsall has been named one of the Best Workplaces in Canada for five consecutive years, from 2007 - 2011.[3] [4] [5] [6] [7]
Halsall is a founding member of the Canada Green Building Council [8] and were among the authoring consultants for the adaptation of the LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations & Maintenance green building rating system for Canada.[9]
In 2010, Halsall and its sister companies became the Canadian Operating Company of Parsons Brinckerhoff.[10]
