Kongba Maru Laipham : A sacred place about 22 kilometers from Imphal City :: December 2014 Kongba Maru Laipham, is a place where the Kongba rivers started from. The river is joined by other tributaries in its further course. Kongba Maru Laipham is situated at at distance of about 22 kilometers from Imphal. On the way to Saikul road from Imphal moving on the left side after reaching Pangei, Khundrakpam, Yumnam Khunou, further going ahead for approximately 45 minutes from Kongpal Village Eeshinthembi, Khonomphal (Kuki) could be reached.
Starting from the first Sunday after Nongma Panba Sajibu (January) of Manipuri Calander, Many people come to offer prayer here at the sacred place on every Sunday of the whole Sajibu Month.
