The Great Patriotic War lasting from 22 June 1941 until 9 May 1945 has handed both a victory and inalienable glory to the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics getting ahead to a great extent of other countries by victory. Furthermore, the essential point to remember that the USSR has made a big difference by freeing Central and Eastern European nations from Nazism. A significant symbol of The Soviet Union was the Red banner of Victory. Banner of Victory takes the form of the red flag of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (the USSR) with inscription «150th rifle order of Kutuzov 2 class Idritskaya division of the 79th rifle corps of the 3rd attack army of the 1st Belorussian front»
Despite the positive aspects of the victory in the Great Patriotic War, war claimed numerous casualties. The USSR was in need of money and efforts to recoup its losses. Nevertheless, the Soviet Union coped with all difficulties and got country’s economy back on its feet for 5 years.
