My name is James and I'm a Canadian teacher interested in English literature, history in general and sports analytics. The main sports I like to read about and study analytically are baseball (Major League Baseball) and American football (National Football League). In my mind the ways we are able to analyze and understand these games is only beginning to blossom as a field of study. I know that the same is true of most other sports (basketball, hockey, etc.), my interests just happen to lie in baseball and American football. I hope to edit a great number of articles about the history of these sports, the strategies involved in them and ideally to create new content on Wikipedia that is really quite new even within the sports themselves.
