I have been an anonymous Wikipedia contributor in times past. This account was recently set up for my students.
I really enjoy teaching my class.
I teach science, engineering, math, and technology. I hope to engage my students in research by allowing them to become a part of the Wikipedia community.
They will need help acclimating to the Wikipedia discussion culture. Their assignments will be in editing pages and contributing citations, as well as a possible new page creation.
They, and I, would love pointers regarding discussion posts, interacting with others, and learning to use the Wikipedia mark-up language.
These students will be mostly scientific topics, but may extend beyond that.
Scientists have been studying crops that can survive a flood.[1]
Scientists think that they will have pig to human transplants soon.[2]
This user is interested in science. |
