Fall River, Oregon ... Fall River is a tributary of the Deschutes River that springs from an underground source at latitude 43.767861, longitude -121.633313, and connects with the Deschutes River at latitude 43.788806, longitude -121.511916 after winding 12 miles through lodgepole pine forest. At the confluence of the two rivers is a small residential community also named Fall River, just outside of Sunriver, Oregon. The short but picturesque river is popular with fly fishermen, hikers and photographers, and provides fresh flowing water through the Fall River Fish Hatchery.
