I am a retired Art Historian and writer with interests in contemporary art, mid-century modern design, the history of photography and the history of film. My credentials include a B.A., M.A. and Ph.D. in Art History, as well as a B.A. in Art. Currently at work on a book about the history and design of Melmac (melamine plastic) dinnerware as a case study and microcosm of American mid-century design in general. I live in Palm Springs, California.
