Born in Germany and having grown up in South America and Asia I had the chance to learn different languages and experience new cultures. Returning to Germany I served in the German army as a drill instructor and later as a signals platoon leader in a signals battaillon. As a degree qualified mechanical engineer I worked for German automotive and engineering companies. Among my different tasks I was mainly involved in the cylinder head design of automotive diesel engines.
Currently I work for organisations representing LPG retailers at global and European levels. My tasks involve
- promotion of Autogas
- policy advocacy
- standardisation work in CEN and ISO standards working groups.
Working for representations, which are non-profit organisations, I have no specific commercial interest. I contribute to the presentation of Autogas in Wikipedia as well as pursuing my interests (mainly engineering subjects).
I have recently managed to finally by my dream car, a Volvo Amazon from 1969.
