I am a reference librarian for the Washington State Library, where I specialize in Washington and Pacific Northwest history, government, genealogy, and culture. Previously a document delivery specialist for a corporate library housed in Seattle. University of Washington graduate twice over, with a Bachelor's in Creative Writing and a Masters in Library and Information Science from the iSchool. Proud Husky Band alum.
As a librarian at the Washington State Library, I am an employee of the Office of the Secretary of State, the State of Washington, and the taxpayers of this state. I feel I have an obligation to all of my employers to provide access to accurate and true information about our state and its history. I strive to abide by Wikipedia's standards regarding conflict of interest, notability, and neutrality. I will not make any edits that are contrary to the goals of Wikipedia. I will periodically add links to external library collections that I believe support the article in question, as well as contribute citations within my areas of subject expertise. Please do not hesitate to contact me via my Talk page if you have a concern about any edits that appear problematic.
