- Within the gameplay of World of Warcraft there is an internal economy with two types of professions, gathering and crafting. All professions are voluntary and require training from a "Trainer". There are trainers for most professions in every major city with in the game. There are eleven professions, where a player is limited to learning two per character, and four secondary skills, that a player may learn as many as they choose.
