Gay Day (Gay Birthday)

A person's Gay Day is a celebration of their coming-out day (on their coming out day, if known and/or applicable, otherwise on a day of meaning to them). It is short for "Gay Birthday" and is celebrated as equally important, and festive, as a person's real birthday.

Individual celebrations vary, and are personal, festive, and often-times lightheartedly flamboyant. This may include (but is not limited to) excessive rainbows, sprinkles, glitter, queer films, dress, et. al.

At its heart, Gay Day is fun, and celebratory.

Gay Day is of anonymous origins.
