[edit]One kind of gerrymander is to have small populations in rural seats and large populations in urban seats. Laws have often been introduced to limit the variation in seat size to say 10%.
Australia has seats with huge sparsely populated areas and a greater size variation, Such seats usually have multiple electorate offices.
