The People's Japanese Republic of Idanistan (Japanidan: ぴぽせじゃぱにじりぱびゐきおはいだにしたな, Pipose jiayapaniji ripabiwiki oha idanishitana), commonly known as Idanistan (Japanidan: いだにしたな, Idanishitana) is a large, safe nation, renowned for its devotion to social welfare. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population are kept under strict control by the oppressive government, lead by Idan, Jun and Harel, which measures its success by the nation's GDP and refers to individual citizens as "human resources".

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it devotes most of its attentions to Law & Order, with areas such as Religion & Spirituality and Public Transport receiving almost no funds by comparison. The average income tax rate is 60%, and even higher for the wealthy. A robust private sector is led by the Gambling industry, followed by Uranium Mining and Retail.

Teenagers are sent to jail for being out too late, smoking is banned in public areas and immigrants are required to salute the flag five times a day. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Idanistan's currency is the Mitsrimonim.
