The Holy Martyr are a Sardinian epic metal group founded in 1994.
Firstly composed by only three members, during the following years, after several changes of line-up, the group found a stable composition. That allowed the creation of its first demo Hatred and Warlust (2002), followed by Hail to Hellas (2003) and Vis et Honor (2005).
After years of hard work, Dragonheart Records becomes the band's label, launching its first album Still at War in 2007. Very few live events follow, among them its participation in Up the Hammers Festival in Athens. In the while the band can start to work for its second album and to plan its move to Milan. All that in few months: in March 2008 it records the new album by the Luigi Stefanini's Sin Studio, in July the band finish its members' move and on September, 12 2008 it launches its second full-lenght, with the title Hellenic Warrior Spirit, followed by several events in Europe, mainly in Italy.
