Career
[edit]Home turned professional in 1993, playing his first match at that year's Grand Prix, where he lost 2–5 to Lee Marney. He recorded his first victory at the 1994 International Open, defeating Keith Moore 5–4, but lost his next qualifying round match to Richard Wheelhouse. He opted not to enter the 1994 World Championship, and finished the season ranked 571st.
Beginning 1994/1995 without a ranking position, Home played at the last-128 stage of the 1994 Benson & Hedges Championship - courtesy of first opponent Nick Terry's withdrawal - but lost 0–5 to Steve Newbury. He enjoyed the second win of his career in the 1995 Welsh Open, beating Carl Groves 5–2, but again lost in the second qualifying round, this time to Adrian Rosa.
Home did not play competitive snooker for twenty years thereafter; however, he entered qualifying for the 2015 World Seniors Championship, losing his first match 0–2 to Darryn Walker.
