Career
[edit]Zagaroli was born in 1975, and turned professional in 1993. He first progressed to the first round of a tournament at the 1995 Welsh Open, where he defeated four opponents before losing 1–5 to Tony Meo at the last-128 stage. No further success followed and, with the introduction of the secondary UK Tour in 1997, he was relegated from the main tour at this point, ranked 296th.
In 1998, Zagaroli returned to the main tour, but he entered only two tournaments during the 1998/1999 season - the Benson & Hedges Championship and the World Championship. Having lost to Adrian Rosa in the former and Jamie Bodle in the latter, he lost his professional status once more in 1999, aged 24.
