This is a place where people can make test edits without fear of messing up anything. Sometimes I might import an actual article or just leave the page more or less empty and let folks use it as a big community sandbox. Have fun! MontOther (talk) 20:39, 2 March 2018 (UTC)
Ideas
[edit]You can do any editing you want here (other than vandalism) but if you want ideas, try these:
- Click the "edit" tab, add an exclamation point (!) to the end of this sentence, and save your edit.
- Click the "edit source" tab, add an exclamation point (!) to the end of this (#2) sentence, and save your edit.
- Click the "view history" tab, then see if you can "undo" your last edit.
- Now edit this page with the the "edit source" tab to add an exclamation point (!) to the end of this (#4) sentence, and preview your edit, then save your edit.
- Now edit this page to add an exclamation point (!) to the end of this sentence, then click the "show changes" button, then save your edit.
- Click the "view history" tab, then see if you can compare a previous versions of this page to the current version.
- Click the "view history" tab, then see if you can "undo" all your previous edits and leave this page in the condition it was before you started editing.
- Click the "view history" tab, then open the version of this page as it appeared on June 6, 2015.
- Go to User talk:MontOther and leave me a message with the title of the article that was in this sandbox on June 6, 2015. Or just say "hi."
- In the "testing area" below, or in your own sandbox, try the following edits:
- Write a sentence, any sentence. Click the "show changes" button or the "Preview" button (or both). Then save your changes.
- Try adding another sentence. Preview your edit, then change something, preview again, then save.
- Create a "level two" header (The boldfaced word "Ideas" above is a level 2 header) called "My testing area"
- Copy and paste the following sentence into "My testing area": The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. Save.
- Wikilink the words brown, fox and dog. Save.
