Aurora Nealand is an American musician/singer, based in New Orleans. She is the leader of Aurora Nealand and the Royal Roses.^[1] which includes sousaphonist Matt Perrine, guitarist Matt Bell, trumpeter Dave Boswell and drummer Paul Thibodeaux as core members.Cite error: A <ref> tag is missing the closing </ref> (see the help page).

She played a recurring role in the HBO series Treme as Annie Talarico’s (Lucia Micarelli) friend and one-time roommate and performed in the series as the leader of a punk rockabilly band, Rory Danger and the Danger Dangers.^[2]
